This Isn’t Solo' is an interactive performance that redefines the relationship between audience, musician, and music. In this exploration, the traditional boundaries of a music performance are shattered as an experimental musical instrument shares the spotlight with you, the audience.
Using cello bows, 4 participants step into the role of a co-creator as they wield a cello bow, transforming into a conductor of recorded sounds from the very instrument itself. Guided by the musician, the participants will navigate through a mesmerizing interplay of blinking patterns and the evolution of a meticulously crafted musical composition. This isn’t an ordinary performance; it's a symphony of shared control and artistic synergy.
This project is an artistic exploration about audience engagement, revealing the listener participation in an abstract communication with digital art and music.
