Festival and Radio program

The project "Weaving Music for Radio, by Latin American Women Composers" was one of eight projects selected by the International Fund for Culture (UNESCO, 2016). Coordinated and produced by Rafaele Andrade and Roseane Yampolschi, the project commissioned 8 works from latin America composers (Melissa Vargas, Natalia Solomonoff, Valéria Bonafé, Patricia Martinez, Georgina Canifrú, Tania Rubio, Rafaele Andrade and Roseane Yampolschi). These works were premiered in February 2026 in Curitiba Brazil, and broadcasted at the Radio MUSICAOS. The MUSICAOS program airs on four educational radio stations via AM, FM and their respective web radios of the state of Parana, Brasil.

The 8 composers were presented during the rehearsals, premiere and the festival. A video documentary can be found above about this huge project. The recorded pieces are shared below for the purpose of open source archive of this project and documentation.
